Terms of Use

Last updated: August 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ScopedIQ (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is currently operated by Corby Bender as an early-access product — contact corby.bender1976@gmail.com with questions.

2. Description of the Service

ScopedIQ connects to Microsoft 365 tenants via Microsoft Graph, using read-only permissions only, to generate a security posture score, findings, and exportable reports. The Service does not modify, remediate, or write to any connected tenant.

3. Your account and responsibilities

  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide and for safeguarding your login credentials.
  • You must have proper authorization from a client before connecting their Microsoft 365 tenant — connecting a tenant implies you have obtained the necessary admin consent legitimately.
  • You agree not to use the Service to probe, scan, or access tenants you are not authorized to assess.

4. Data ownership

Your client's tenant configuration data belongs to your client. Reports you generate belong to you. We claim no ownership over any scan output, finding, or exported report.

5. Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No annual contract is required. Prices are as posted on our pricing page at the time of purchase and may change with notice to active subscribers.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. As an early-stage product, we do not currently guarantee any specific uptime service level. We'll make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service running and to notify you of planned downtime.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScopedIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including reliance on any security score, finding, or report it generates. The Service is a reporting tool, not a substitute for professional security judgment.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the Service, or attempt to access tenants without authorization. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll update the “last updated” date above if these terms change materially, and will notify active subscribers by email.
